Just now giving this a listen; lots of good history. Regular readers here should know I how I feel about this. Our “tribes” are not corporations, IRA governments, etc, but instead are our traditional clan and tribal institutions. It’s a fair point that the US Government refused to recognize traditional tribal structures across the country. But part of our problem has been the destruction of these traditional institutions.
